Which APP is better & Why?

360 SMS v/s SMS Magic 

Though both 360 SMS & SMS Magic are text messaging apps on AppExchange, still there are some differences between them. Let’s compare both Apps on four parameters: Usability and Data Security, Features, Key Benefits & Pricing.

    3. 360 SMS app is totally built on Salesforce which helps users to connect with the customers. Here, no data is stored outside of Salesforce as 360 SMS App has no Servers. SMS Magic helps to text business messages directly from Salesforce CRM, which helps you to increase sales in your business, build brand awareness, and also strengthen relationships with the customers. SMS Magic has a Server and stores the messages on its servers too along with your Salesforce.

    1. 360 SMS app can connect with multiple ( eleven ) pre-built channels: SMS, WhatsApp, MMS, Telephony, WeChat, Viber, Line, Instagram, Kakao, FB Messenger & Ringless Voicemail. SMS Magic is an app that has CRM messaging platform, which enables users to connect across only four channels through text messaging: WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger & MMS. It has interactive & automated messaging opportunities.
    2. 360 SMS app provides a Ringless Voicedrop feature (paid addon) that uses the functions of SMS interfaces, but instead of text message, users can record a new voice file which straightaway will go to a recipient’s Voicemail inbox without any ringing sound. This function is applicable to both individual & batched selection of records for sending voicedrop.
    3. SMS Magic does not have this special feature of Ringless Voicedropl like the 360 SMS app.
    4. 360 SMS app has CTI enabled in its application. This means the customer can use the same number for calling as well for SMS. It even supports advanced telephony features like IVR, Call Routing, Missed Call Alerts, Screen Popups, and Click-to-Dial. In contrast, SMS Magic has no option for CTI.
    5. Both 360 SMS app & SMS Magic use hyperlink tracking to measure messaging engagement effectively. Links can also be shortened automatically & sent to individual users. These help senders stay off SPAM lists. Both the apps support custom Branded URLs also.360 SMS app has one on one conversation facility to respond to the interest of the customers over preferred channels, for faster references & searches. SMS Magic also has one on one messaging facility.
    6. 360 SMS app can send bulk & automated messages to any number of recipients from Listviews, Campaigns, and even standard Reports. While sending messages to over 2k contacts or more, bulk messaging services from reports are effective because they do not have thresholds. SMS Magic too can send bulk messages to a number of recipients but does not have SMS from Report Feature.
    7. Both 360 SMS & SMS Magic can send automated messages through Process Builders, Workflows, Flows, APEX class, or APIs.
    8. 360 SMS has some advanced features which SMS Magic does not have. These are – Drip Campaigns, Chatbots, Surveys, Keyword profiling, Ringless Voicemails and iText.
    9. 360 SMS app & SMS Magic receive all alerts/ notifications of all incoming messages. They have a mobile messaging interface that is built on Salesforce. They use multiple languages too. There are also some features that are common to both, like the ability to relate incoming messages and call with the sender of the last outgoing call or message, Custom Opt-in/Opt-out Keywords, Non-profit Discount & Rollover Message Credits meaning. Credits do not expire & are rolled over to the next billing cycle.

Conclusion: Both apps provide basic Salesforce SMS features but SMS Magic lacks advanced features like Drip Campaign, Chatbots, Ringless Voicemail, CTI & Channels like Line, Ka-kao, We-chat etc. In this category, all 360SMSAPP is better than SMS Magic

Minute Differences

    1. 360 SMS app has SMS template folders while SMS Magic does not have any SMS template folders.
    2. 360 SMS app enables users to update records while in conservation. The app has Conversation Manager which allows in-line editing over records, without opening a separate record page or window. SMS Magic does not have this function. 360 SMS is admin-friendly and also has a completely true configurable zero code. SMS Magic does not support this function like 360 SMS
    3. 360 SMS app supports batch texting with co-pilot. It distributes smartly the ongoing traffic & equally on  multiple long codes. SMS Magic does not have this feature.
    4. 360 SMS has an omnichannel configuration which means to easily configure different queues & templates, start the automation, end chat & more. SMS Magic does not support this feature.
    5. 360 SMS app verifies the phone numbers in Salesforce to ensure that the numbers are active & valid before your business team calls & sends messages. All the inactive contacts are separated before the team starts to campaign. Timely verification is done to clean the source of collection so that teams can reach all the customers on time. SMS Magic has no phone verification facility like 360 SMS app.
    6. 360 SMS app has a sticky sender which helps to build trust, relationships with customers, and efficient service through consistent phone numbers every time. It allows the number to be set by geography, territory, sales representative & as needed. Sticky sender lets you assign numbers automatically without error. SMS Magic does not have this feature.

Conclusion: 360SMSAPP provides several other benefits on top of key features like SMS template folders, phone numbers verification, and sticky sender which SMS Magic does not provide.

Pricing:

    1. The User License Cost is $15 for 360 SMS & $19 for SMS Magic.
    2. The Outgoing SMS Cost for 360 SMS is $15 for 1000 messages & for SMS Magic, it is $12 for 1000 messages. This is the price for the USA. The prices can vary for each country.

Conclusion:  360SMSAPP is cost-effective than SMS Magic

Overall Conclusion:  We arrive at a conclusion that 360 SMS is much better compared to SMS Magic, as 360 SMS has all the special features and cost-effectiveness which SMS Magic doesn’t.
