Google changed NoFollow links Ranking structure

HINT              HINT               HINT              HINT

This week beginning Google announced a major change in Nofollow links juice structure. Now Google will use no follow links as hint instead of not following the links.

Earlier Google Statement for Nofollow links

  • rel=”nofollow“:  Use the nofollow value when other values don’t apply, and you’d rather Google not associate your site with, or crawl the linked page from, your site.
  • rel=”sponsored”: Mark links that are advertisements or paid placements (commonly called paid links) as sponsored
  • rel=”ugc”: We recommend marking user-generated content (UGC) links, such as comments and forum posts, as ugc. If you want to recognize and reward trustworthy contributors, you might remove this attribute from links posted by members or users who have consistently made high-quality contributions over time

This change will not be for No follow links only but also for sponsored and UGC (user-generated content) links

Google Statement :

“When nofollow was introduced, Google would not count any link marked this way as a signal to use within our search algorithms. This has now changed.

All the link attributes — sponsored, UGC and nofollow — are treated as hints about which links to consider or exclude within Search.

We’ll use these hints — along with other signals — as a way to better understand how to appropriately analyze and use links within our systems.”
